It’s not too late – come by the library this week and check out our fabulous selection of Christmas earrings made right in our Maker Lab! They are $7/pair plus sales tax. All proceeds benefit the Evelyn Meador Library.
The Friends of Evelyn Meador Library have pledged to work with the Harris County Public Library and the City of Seabrook to make our library a wonderful resource for our coastal community. Our fundraising efforts help purchase books, upgraded furnishings and equipment that enhance the overall quality of our library. There are many ways to contribute.

We recently added new items to our store! Here we’re showcasing our spooky spider web earrings created in our library Makerspace Lab! Check back often for new seasonal items. All sales are 100% online and merchandise can be picked up at the library.

Join the Harris County Friends of the Library (HCFOL) and support the whole library system! Your membership helps support programs, such as the Summer Reading Program, Mini-grants for the branches, Outreach Programs, and Scholarships for library staff to just name a few. Their basic membership is $25 a year. During the library system’s 100th anniversary year, you will receive a limited edition mug as a token of our appreciation.

Our 2021 Friends Annual Meeting went virtual this year! Seabrook City Manager Gayle Cook and Seabrook Mayor Thom Kolupski provided an exciting city update. We look forward to seeing everyone in person next year! In the meantime, you can download the file below and read about the exciting changes that are happening in our city.
